Home Made Challenge in 2012 really snuck up on us! With work functions and work travel, it was very difficult to stay true to our mission to eat in! One of the biggest challenges is still the concept of planning ahead – not thinking ahead means more time spent at the grocery store, mouthes agape, standing in the produce section like a rock in a stream while others filed past, frantically looking up recipes on Smitten Kitchen or David Lebovitz…
I am proud to have added home made granola to my list of new skills, but next year I hope the list will expand even more.
