I’ve recently had an obsession: the strawberry milkshake. Now I’ve never been a strawberry milkshake fan. I’ve always disliked the artificially processed strawberry taste, but that’s just me.
That was until Rawlicious! One of my favourite restaurants – formally seen in the Junction and now residing in Bloor West – Rawlicious serves up their version of the strawberry milkshake and it was MIND blowing. Especially when you consider there’s not a drop of milk or ice cream in it! Try it for yourself!
Tip: I like to freeze some or all of the strawberries to make the milkshake extra cold. Add a little more fronzen strawberries and a little less milk and you have yourself a nice ice creamy dessert!
- 2 Handfuls of Strawberries (approximately 10-15 depending on the size… I may be overdoing the strawberries, so play around with it)
- 1/4 Avocado
- 1 1/2 cups Almond Milk (Add more or less to get your desired consistency)
- 1 tblsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Blend and enjoy!
